This is an imported strap. We don't know if an eyeball was put out by it, or if the tarp got tore up because of the loss of load securement.
What we do know is this is why we only will sell American-made rubber bungees.
Any strap can claim they are EPDM-compliant... the rubber quality that comes (mainly from Sri Lanka) is an inferior rubber polymer compared to American-made rubber.
The strength of the American-made rubber withstands the harsh environments that is part of this business.
You pay for what you get, insist on American-made bungees.
