Trailer connectors for tarp systems

An overlooked item that you will need when purchasing a tarp system for a trailer is a trailer connector...which one should you choose? You'll need a north/south directional connector to run the power strictly for that unit. The other common trailer connectors on the tractor are east/west, but are used for liftgates or other accessories.
